Q: How does AI score counting work?

A: Point your camera at your dominoes using the camera icon in the app. Our AI will automatically detect and count the pips in real-time as the dominoes appear in view. Make sure the dominoes are clearly visible and well-lit for best results.

Q: What's included in the free version?

A: The free version includes basic score tracking for 2-4 players, 3 free AI counting uses, and limited themes. You can play unlimited games!

Q: What does Premium include?

A: Premium unlocks unlimited AI counting, ad-free experience, tournament mode, all themes and animations, iCloud sync, game sharing, widgets & live activity (iOS 26+), and custom scoreboard backgrounds (iOS 26+). Recurring subscriptions (Monthly, 6-Month, Annual) include a 14-day free trial. Lifetime Access requires immediate one-time payment with no trial.

Q: Does the 14-day free trial apply to all Premium options?

A: No. The 14-day free trial only applies to recurring subscriptions (Monthly, 6-Month, and Annual plans). If you choose Lifetime Access, it's a one-time payment with no trial period, but you get permanent Premium access forever.

Q: How do I add widgets to my home screen? (Premium, iOS 26+)

A: Long-press on your home screen, tap the "+" button in the top left, search for "Magic Domino", and select the widget size you want. You can add widgets to your home screen or lock screen to see your live scores!

Q: What is Live Activity? (Premium, iOS 26+)

A: Live Activity displays your current game score in real-time on your lock screen. When you start a new game with Premium, your live score automatically appears! It updates as you add points during the game.

Q: How do I customize my scoreboard background? (Premium, iOS 26+)

A: Go to Settings → Scoreboard Background → Select Photo. Choose a photo from your library, adjust the opacity and blur to your liking, and save! Your photo is stored locally on your device and never uploaded to our servers.

Q: Why can't I see the custom background or widget features?

A: These are Premium features with specific iOS requirements:

• Widgets & Live Activity require iOS 26 or later and a Premium subscription
• Custom Backgrounds require iOS 26 or later and a Premium subscription

Q: How do I restore my Premium purchase?

A: Go to Settings → tap "Upgrade" → On the paywall screen, tap "Restore Purchase" at the top right. Your purchase is tied to your Apple ID and will be restored automatically.

Q: Can I sync my games across devices?

A: Yes! With a Premium subscription, your game history syncs automatically via iCloud across all your Apple devices.

Q: How do I cancel my subscription?

A: Subscriptions are managed through Apple. Go to Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → Magic Domino → Cancel Subscription.

Q: How does Tournament Mode work?

A: Create a tournament with 4, 8, 16, or 32 players. The app automatically generates brackets and tracks winners through each round until a champion is crowned!

Q: Can I share my games with friends?

A: Yes! Premium users can export game states and share them with friends to continue playing later.

Q: The AI isn't counting correctly. What should I do?

A: Make sure your dominoes are:

• Well-lit and clearly visible in the camera view
• Not overlapping each other
• Against a contrasting background
• Held steady for the AI to detect them

Q: Is my photo safe when I use a custom background?

A: Absolutely! When you select a photo for your scoreboard background, it's compressed and stored locally on your device only. Your photos are never uploaded to our servers or shared with anyone. You have complete control and can remove the custom background anytime.
